Health Task GroupInformation about tackling Obesity wantedThe Partnership Board's Health Task Group started meeting again in January. The next meeting will be looking at the area of obesity; and some time will be spent mapping what support and services are already out there for people with learning disabilities. Does your organisation run a project that helps to tackle obesity in some way? It can be anything from a walking group, an information leaflet, or fitness assessments to cookery lessons or gym classes. If so, please let me know about your project. All I need is a few sentences about what the project does, who it is open to, how many people it serves, and how long it is funded for. This information will help us to get a picture of what work is going on and where the gaps in provision are. Please email: lisa@ldforum.org.uk Many thanks
